Rules of conduct
1. You need your parents’ authorization to register -
In order to register on the site, you must talk to your parents first and obtain their authorization.
2. Never give out personal information - In order to register, you gave your first name and your user name. You must never give other personal information like your family name, your telephone number or your home address.
3. Attention: your profile is public - Never forget that the information you give in the description on your profile page is accessible to all Club members, so think carefully about what you want to show or say about yourself.
4. Respect other Club members - Even though it is just a computer screen in front of you, never forget that you are communicating with a real person. That is why it is strictly forbidden to insult, attack or ridicule another member. And remember that using polite language and courteous words like “hello†and “thank you†will naturally encourage potential pen pals.
5. Accept another member’s decision not to communicate - If a Club member decides that he or she does not wish to receive any more messages from you, you must accept it gracefully.
6. Be respectful of others - Any intolerant comment evoking racism, violence, discrimination, political extremism, pornography or insulting or threatening any person, religion or nationality is strictly forbidden.
7. Let us know if members are not respecting these rules! - If you realize that someone is not respecting these rules, let us know immediately by clicking on the“Report Abuse†button.
8. Any member who does not respect these rules will be expelled immediately - Any member who does not respect all of these rules will be expelled immediately and permanently from the Club with no possible recourse.
